Funeral services Friday for Utah code officer killed on duty – Suspect said officer ‘got what she deserved’ after ‘years of harassment’

Authorities say Kevin Wayne Billings, a 64-year-old Utah man shot and killed Robinson, torched her truck and set a fire that destroyed the home next door. Jail documents released Friday, Aug. 10, 2018 state Kevin Wayne Billings said the officer working a routine follow-up call "got what she deserved" after "years of harassment."
WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) 08/16 — Funeral services will be held Friday in West Valley City for a municipal code enforcement officer fatally shot while on the job in the Salt Lake City suburb.
The public can attend services for 52-year-old Jill Robinson, which begin at 10 a.m. at the Maverik Center.
Robison was killed Aug. 9 at a home where police later arrested 64-year-old Kevin Wayne Billings on suspicion of aggravated arson, murder and other charges.

Court records show Billings had a history of code enforcement charges dating back decades.
Interment will be private.
